Right way to complain

A new section has been added to the Domain Patrol website. It contains recommendations on how to file a complaint on an illegitimate resource. The page describes in detail the procedure when identifying abuse of domain names in various zones as well as the most frequent cases.

Users that have experienced suspicious websites in the .RU and .РФ ccTLDs already know what to do, but the procedure is described on the Domain Patrol website. Users can also find the contact information for the hotlines of the related Russian organizations there.

But what do you do if a ccTLD in another country or international gTLD is used to address such a website? For these cases, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has prepared a number of recommendations and useful links that can be found in the Right Way to Complain section. Here, detailed information is presented on how to contact a foreign registrar or registry, the right way to communicate with them, and where to turn if there is no response.

Find out more on the website of the Domain Patrol project.
