This year, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.RF will offer its fifth Special Course for young people ahead of the Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF).
Undergraduates, postgraduates and recent graduates from various fields, interested in the management, development and use of the internet and digital technologies, are invited to participate.
During the lectures and workshops they will attend, the Special Course participants will be given extensive information on the main topics of the forum sections. They will discuss the current agenda with experts, and formulate ideas reflecting the youth’s view on the existing problems.
The issues for discussion include artificial intelligence and new technologies, cooperation in technology exchange, protecting children online, and others.
The course program includes six webinars (on March 15, 22, and 29) and two interactive workshops (on March 31 and April 3) where participants will explore tools for creative online group work.
The key takeaways will be presented on April 7 at RIGF 2025.
Participants will not only gain new information, but will also have the opportunity to develop their discussion skills, learn to work out approaches to addressing current internet governance problems and use various online collaboration tools.
Participation is free, but places are limited.
To apply for the Special Course, you need to fill out this form by March 10. The questionnaire, which includes motivational questions, among others, will help the organizers select candidates by evaluating their interest in the subject and resolve to apply the new knowledge in practice.
