The .РФ is the first and largest Cyrillic domain in the world with 133 accredited registrars and more than 317,000 administrators. On average, 429 new domains are registered in the .РФ zone every day.
There are 94% of domain names delegated in the .РФ, 21% of domain names are registered by legal entities, 79% by individuals. 59% of domain names host websites and web pages, another 10% are used for redirects.
“The .РФ in 2023 shows very high growth rates - if last year the growth of the .РФ amounted to only 0.2% or 1308 domain names, then this year by August we have achieved the results that we predicted by the end of 2023. First of all, of course, this is due to the growth of small and medium-sized businesses and their return to creating their own websites - the inability to fully work with foreign social networks and marketplaces affects. The .RU also shows impressive results - in July it became the growth leader among national domains (+ almost 30,000 domain names per month) and confidently crossed the mark of 5 million registered domain names," said the Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ Andrey Vorobyev.
