The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Rostelecom announce the start of the XII All-Russian Online Championship "Study the Internet & Govern It!". This is a digital literacy competition for students under 18 years of age. Registration for the Championship will last until November 1, 2023. The topic of the year is technology in education.

The championship is held in individual and team competitions within two stages: at the first stage, participants will have to complete one or more creative tasks (publish news about the Championship or prepare a presentation on the topic “Teacher of the Future”), finished works are accepted until November 1; and on the second one, to pass an online tournament of 24 interactive tasks of varying complexity, they will be available in a special section of the project website "Study the Internet & Govern It!" from November 2 to 22, 2023.

The results of the online championship will be summed up on December 8th. Winners in individual and team competitions will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. Participants of the online championship who did not win prizes will receive personalized electronic certificates.

“it should come as no surprise that in the year of the teacher and mentor, the Championship is dedicated to the topic of technology in education. This will be the interactive tasks of the online tournament, as well as the creative work that the guys need to do at the first stage of the Championship: we invited the participants to dream up and imagine the teacher of the future: what skills and knowledge he must have in order to bear this title,” - said Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. “And once again I would like to note that the Championship is not just a competition that will determine the savviest experts in Internet technologies, but also a way to expand their horizons, learn news from the digital world and, of course, improve their digital literacy in a fun way”.

Registration for the Championship is available on the website.
