15-th International conference for ccTLD registries and registrars of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe (TLDCON 2022) has published its program on the website.
TLDCON 2022 is going to be held on September 30, 2022 online by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ with the support of the Technical Center of Internet (general partner) and MSK-IX.
The Conference agenda will begin with a traditional tour-de-table with representatives of TLD Registries, national Registers, famous Russian and international technical specialists, and registrar businesses. They will briefly discuss the year's happenings as well as the most relevant and important topics of interest to the audience in their five to ten-minute speeches.
The event will also include a legal section in which the panelists will discuss domain-specific regulation as well as contemporary issues and proposed legislation in this field. Pavel Patrikeev (REG.RU), Ekaterina Kalinicheva (Semenov&Pevzner), Maria Samartseva (Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners), Andrey Alexeychuk (Kachkin & Partners), Marina Rozhkova (Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation), and Alina Akinshina (Online Patent) will address the section. The moderator is Sergey Kopylov, Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
The section on security issues is devoted to discussing the effectiveness of existing mechanisms for combating the use of domains for malicious purposes and the prospects for this direction. Patrick Jones (ICANN), Ching Chao (Whois API, Inc.), Dmitry Kiryushkin (BI.ZONE), and Alexey Shumin (Kaspersky Lab) are the speakers for this section. Pavel Khramtsov is the moderator (MSK-IX).
Technical section dedicated to new technologies will conclude the program. Alexei Rogdev (TCI) will serve as the moderator. Maxim Burtikov (RIPE NCC), Alain Durant (ICANN) and Pavel Khramtsov (MSK-IX) will address the section.
Participation in the conference is free. Registration will be open until September 28.
