10th Explore the Internet & Govern It championship kicks off

The 10th Russian Explore the Internet & Govern It online championship has kicked off. Over 10 years, more than 115,000 schoolchildren and students from most Russian regions have taken part in the contest.

This year, over 15,000 are individual participants, and another 3,000 plus competitors have united in teams (with 876 teams in total).

The participants in the online championship will have to complete 24 tasks on the digital state and learn a lot of new things about digital government, digital economy, the security of digital states, online education, and smart cities.

They can use practice materials published on social media, in the official accounts of the Explore the Internet & Govern It communities using the hashtag #интернетчемпионат_2021_подготовка on Facebook and VKontakte

The online championship tournament module will stay open for registered participants until November 25. You can start on the tasks anytime throughout the entire period, November 11-25, with a fixed amount of time allotted to perform each task – 60 minutes.

A lot of participants began the championship even before the official kickoff by completing special creative tasks that will earn them bonus points.

The results of the championships will be available on December 8, 2021. 

Leaders of the individual and team race will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes:

  • 1st place - Tablet Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab YT-X705F
  • 2nd place - Smartphone Honor 9A
  • 3rd place – Smartwatch Amazfit Bip S
  • 4th and 5th places - 3D pen 3Dali Plus Comics and ABS plastic

In addition to this, winners will get prizes from the Kodland school of programming.

All winners will get prizes from Rostelecom.

The Championship is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Rostelecom with the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
