“The Russian State Children’s Library is an old partner of the Coordination Center in social and education projects aimed at increasing the digital skills of children and teenagers. We have held joint lessons on information literacy many times, as well as cyberdictation sessions on financial IT literacy for the last two years. This is why we always try to take part in the library’s projects which are somehow connected to children’s digital art. Most videos sent for the Travel around Weblandia contest were made to a high standard and with creativity; some participants came up with stories and gave us real tours. It is obvious that each one of them uses the internet not only for entertainment and recreation, but also for gaining new knowledge,” Viktoria Bunchuk said.
