SpaceWeb, a new St. Petersburg registrar, has been accredited in the .RU and .РФ domains. The registrar entered into an accreditation agreement in December.
The new registrar will commence operations upon passing the technical tests at the Internet Technical Center and entering into contracts on access to the .RU and .РФ domains register. This is the ninth registrar accredited in St Petersburg.
Currently, .RU and .РФ domains have 65 registrars accredited in 12 Russian cities.
SpaceWeb is a major Russian hosting provider that has been working in this field since 2001. The company offers a range of services pertaining to website placement and promotion on the internet.
