A free technical seminar on introducing internationalized domain names and email addresses support for software developers will take place at 3 pm on November 25. The seminar will be held online.

In today’s world, the internet and access to websites and online services are all the more important for regular users. Many business projects and socially-oriented services are going through a digital transformation and moving online. It is easier to use Cyrillic addresses, for example domains and emails in .РФ, on the domestic market, because they are easy to understand and remember for Russian users. Today .РФ has over 720,000 such domain names, with over 190,000 registered during this year alone. In general, there are over 8.3 million domain names with characters from national alphabets used in website and email addresses.
During the online seminar, Java software developers, project managers and CTOs will be able to learn how to introduce support for domains and email addresses with characters from national alphabets to their projects and services.
