Internet for All film makes the final of the Profession: Journalist festival

On November 16, the 12th Moscow International Television Festival, Profession: Journalist, will kick off in the Central House of Filmmakers in Moscow. The festival’s competition program includes the film Internet for All. The documentary was filmed by director Mikhail Komlev at the request of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ specifically for the 25th anniversary of the .RU domain.

The film premiered in September 2019 in Moscow, after which it played in many Russian cities for over 2,500 people. The competition screening of the film will take place at 5 pm on November 17. The film will compete with nine other documentaries that deal with different aspects of journalism and its role in modern society.

The festival program also features TV programs, stories, reports and feature films that fit the main idea of the festival – promoting and raising the prestige of the profession of a journalist. In addition to the competition screenings, famous journalists, TV presenters, screenwriters, directors and producers of the television industry will hold workshops, which will be accompanied by an internet broadcast (webinar) on the official website of the TV festival.

The winners of the Profession: Journalist festival will be announced on the evening of November 21.
