First stage of Summer School on Internet Governance completed

The introductory and qualifying stage of the Summer School on Internet Governance, which took place from August 1 to 29, has finished.

Over the month, 53 people participated in webinars, completed assignments and mastered the fundamentals of internet governance.

Forty participants will continue studying the main course in September as part of a supplementary study program organized by St. Petersburg State University in cooperation with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. The remaining 13 participants will still be able to listen to the lecture recordings.

During the main stage, participants will have the opportunity to interact with internet governance experts and practitioners from St. Petersburg State University, RIPE NCC, Qrator Labs, the Institute for Law in the Digital Environment of the Higher School of Economics, and the International Telecommunication Union. In addition to lectures and seminars, participants will receive group and individual assignments, work in teams to prepare for the final debates on the most pressing issues of internet governance, and write an analytical essay on a chosen topic. The best essays will be published on the school website after September 30.
