“Internet for all” presented in Innopolis

On October 30, Innopolis hosted the second regional screening of the documentary “Internet for all,” commissioned by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and filmed by the Social Cinema Foundation to mark the 25th anniversary of the Russian .RU ccTLD.

The screening was attended by Innopolis University students and people living in Innopolis and Kazan. The movie was presented by Head of the Coordination Center’s External Communications Department Mikhail Anisimov and Social Projects Manager Viktoria Bunchuk. They described how the idea came up, how the cast was selected and how the filming went.

“Now we are thinking about filming a sequel. Some stories we collected when we were preparing for the filming remain untold: they did not suit the format; moreover, new interesting stories worth being told come to light every day. For example, we’ve just met Innopolis students who can become protagonists of a novella in the sequel,” Mikhail Anisimov said.

The regional premiere was held in Voronezh on October 21, and the next screening will take placeon November 5 in Chelyabinsk, where the documentary “Internet for all” will open the first Russian Festival of Educational Films, Growing up Together.
