Sedo, a domain trading platform, has published their sales for the first week of June. The domain T.GL was the leader, selling for $25,000. The sum may seem quite modest, but it is without exaggeration an outstanding result for the Greenland ccTLD. Domains in .GL are often advertised as related to good luck, but such big deals are rare.
In general, ccTLDs showed good results at Sedo in the first week of June. For example, fastighetsmäklare.se went for €13,000, and saxo.nl fetched €11,750. In the .COM zone, healthyways.com led the way, changing hands for $23,000. In total, 33 .COM domains and 21 ccTLD domains were sold at Sedo during the week. Another six deals went through on general top-level domains in .ORG, .NET, and .PARIS, according to The Domains.
