Chris Mondini appointed ICANN Vice President in Europe

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced on its official website that Chris Mondini has been appointed Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement, Europe and Managing Director for the Brussels, Belgium office. Previously, this position was held by Jean-Jacques Sahel, who left to work for Google a few months ago.

Mondini began his career as a diplomat and later became a corporate investigator with Deloitte, investigating the largest corporate corruption cases. He joined ICANN in 2011 and currently serves as Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement, North America. In his new capacity, Mondini will oversee ICANN’s activities in Europe and continue to lead ICANN’s worldwide business engagement initiatives. Chris Mondini is fluent in French, which will undoubtedly help him in his European work.
