IP&IT LAW 2026 submission closes on February 1

The 11th All-Russian Youth Competition on Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law (IP&IT LAW 2026) is accepting entries until 9:00 p.m. on February 1 (Moscow time).

As usual, the contest is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and IP CLUB, under the aegis of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and with the support from the Court for Intellectual Property Rights and the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).

As part of its 11th edition, IP&IT LAW accepts entries from Russian and international participants aged 35 or below who hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in law, be it a BA, MA, specialist, or PhD degree.
Contestants are to present unpublished research projects addressing matters dealing with international property, IT rights, and the digital law (IP / IT / Digital Law).

Participation is free. Research, along with the contest form and a personal data processing consent, must be submitted to the Organizing Committee (org@ipclub.in and ipclub-post@yandex.ru) on or before February 1, 2026. Every entry will be evaluated based on several criteria: presentation style, consistency of arguments, quality of source data analysis, proficient knowledge of the matter, and creativity. Entries will be reviewed by a jury consisting of intellectual property and IT law experts, including doctors and candidates of law.

Contest winners will receive prizes from the contest organizers and partners, including monetary prizes of 50,000 rubles and higher, free training certificates, paid internships and much more. The best contest entries will be published in the Court of Intellectual Law Journal and the Digital Law Journal.

The mission of IP&IT LAW 2026 consists of exploring promising areas of study in digital law, intellectual property law in the digital environment, and the legal support of electronic businesses; encouraging research; and raising awareness among government officials and within a wider public about the legal aspects of the digital economy.
