In accordance with its Articles of Association , the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has presented its Priority Activity Areas until 2030. The document was approved by the General Meeting of the Center’s Founders on July 2, 2025.
This document represents a logical continuation and expansion of the previous Priority Activity Areas (Development Strategy) for the Coordination Center until 2025.
The drafting process began with an analysis of key circumstances and factors influencing the Coordination Center’s operations. To this end, a series of studies were conducted, including surveys of internet industry experts and the collection of ideas, feedback, and expert opinions from within the Coordination Center itself. This diversity of perspectives informed an examination of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that may impact the Coordination Center over the next five years.
The Priority Activity Areas until 2030 outline three key priorities: ensuring the reliability, security, and stability of the domain name system and the Russian internet segment as a whole; further developing the domain name market; and promoting the public good by supporting the .RU and .РФ ecosystems as optimal environments for advancing the nation’s digital economy in the interests of Russian internet users, businesses, and the state. Strategic goals and objectives are defined within each of these areas.
