A working meeting of the Youth Council of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ was held at the Coordination Center’s office. During the session, participants summed up their work over the past six months, discussed current issues, and outlined plans for the coming months.
Particular focus was placed on finalizing the Guidelines for Writing Scientific Abstracts, developed following a joint workshop organized by the Youth Council and the School of International Information Security. The workshop focused on preparing abstracts for scientific conferences and academic publications.
The practical guide offers a structured approach to the key stages of abstract writing from selecting and formulating a relevant research topic to building a logical structure, developing well-founded conclusions, and analyzing research data. It also addresses best practices for visualizing results, highlights common author errors and ways to avoid them, and outlines formatting requirements in accordance with current state standards.
The meeting participants emphasized that the guidelines were being designed for a broad audience of authors of scientific reports and articles and will be useful both for early-career researchers and for those with prior experience in academic publishing and conference participation.
Following the discussion, priority areas for future activities were identified, and plans for the near term were approved. The finalized guidelines are available on the Youth Council’s Digital Reality channel.
