The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ announces that the 16th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF 2026) will take place on April 7–8, 2026 in the hybrid format. Like in previous years, the internet community is invited to take part in shaping the forum’s program.
The program committee has already started working, and participants may propose topics for discussion in the RIGF 2026 sessions. In order to do so, please complete the short form on the forum’s website. The final program will be developed after reviewing the proposed topics and taking global trends into account.
The key tracks of RIGF 2026 will be:
- Digital Infrastructure Development
- Governance of AI and Emerging Technologies
- Data Sovereignty and Privacy
- Cybersecurity and Child Online Protection
- Improving Digital Internet Governance
- GDS and WSIS+20 Processes
Members of the internet community are encouraged to contribute relevant content within these areas, and the program committee hopes for active participation in shaping the specific discussion topics for each session. Suggestions may be submitted through the form on the RIGF 2026 website until January 25, 2026.
