From October 5 to 9, 2025, the Senezh Management Workshop hosted the 4th edition of the International School of Internet Safety for Youth, titled Man and Technology. The event was held with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ as a strategic partner. Experts and members of the Coordination Center’s Youth Council took part in the program, organizing a series of educational and interactive activities designed to enhance digital literacy and promote a culture of responsible online behavior.
The program opened with a team quest game titled Geography of .РФ: From Chuvashia to Yakutia in the Address Bar. Participants navigated a digital map of Russia, discovering how many official languages the country has, which letters are permitted or prohibited in the .РФ domain, and other interesting facts.
On the second day of the School, Georgy Georgievsky, Head of Registrar and User Relations at the Coordination Center, delivered a lecture and workshop titled Under the Hood of the Internet: The Domain Name System and Top-Level Domains. During the lecture, participants learned about the structure of internet infrastructure, the workings of the DNS system, and its role in maintaining network stability.
Later that day, participants attended a lecture, The Internet Governance Ecosystem, and took part in a hands-on simulation, 72 Hours After a Crisis – What to Do? The lecture was led by Chairman of the Youth Council Andrey Aleinikov, Curator of the Summer School on Internet Governance Anastasia Savelyeva, and member of the Youth Council Nikita Solovyov.
During the event, participants explored the fundamentals of internet governance, analyzed the distribution of roles among different stakeholders, and engaged in interactive exercises focused on responding to digital incidents. They also developed a checklist of key actions to take within the first 72 hours following a crisis.
On October 8, the School held an open discussion, Playing with Trust: The Dark Side of the Internet, organized by the Coordination Center in collaboration with Vladimir Zykov, Director of the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers. He briefed the participants on common online fraud schemes, citing examples of deceptive advertising on Xiaomi services and YouTube, the use of hidden cameras in popular gadgets, and the tactics employed by telephone scammers, as well as other cyber threats. He also highlighted the growing role of Telegram as a major platform for the circulation of counterfeit documents, weapons, and police uniforms.
The educational program concluded with a quiz and board game titled Explore the Internet, led by Andrey Aleinikov, Anastasia Savelyeva, and Youth Council members Marina Linnik and Marina Moiseyeva. Through the engaging game, participants tested their knowledge of the digital world, online safety, and modern internet technologies.
Over five days, the School brought together around 300 students and young professionals, 100 high school students, and more than 120 experts from leading companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and small businesses. Participants took part in nearly 90 activities, including lectures, workshops, quests, and discussions.
