New registrars based in Moscow have been accredited in .RU and .РФ, including Baza, Ideya, Piksel, Prostranstvo and Fokus.
Accreditation agreements were closed on September 25, 2025. The new registries will start accepting registration requests after completing a trial period with the Technical Center of Internet and closing an agreement to access the registry of .RU/.РФ domains.
Currently, 151 registries operate in Russia’s country domain zones.
