A new registrar, IIT, based in the city of Dubna, has been accredited for Russia's .RU and .РФ country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs). The accreditation agreement was signed on September 18, 2025.
Following the signing, IIT will undergo technical testing with the Technical Center of Internet (TCI) and finalize a registry access agreement before it can begin offering domain registration services.
This accreditation brings the total number of registrars in Russia to 146, operating from 13 cities.
