On September 16 at TLDCON 2025, an accreditation agreement was signed with BACKORDER.RU, a Kaliningrad-based company, granting it registrar status in the .RU and .РФ domain zones. With this accreditation, BACKORDER.RU becomes the 145th accredited registrar in Russia’s domain zones and the 8th based in Kaliningrad.
The new registrar will begin operations after completing technical testing at the Technical Center of Internet and signing a registry access agreement for the .RU and .РФ domains.
