In early September, the new Youth Council of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ met for its first session. The participants discussed core tasks and projects scheduled for implementation in the coming months, including the preparation of a weekly news digest and a series of publications on internet governance, the further development of the Digital Reality podcast and its associated discussion club, and participation in industry events.
“We are starting the Council’s new working year with great energy and ambitious plans. I am confident that the projects we are launching will both provide young specialists with the opportunity to showcase their abilities and contribute to shaping a safe internet environment,” said Andrei Aleinikov, Chairman of the Coordination Center Youth Council.
The newly elected members of the Youth Council commenced their work on September 1. This year saw record interest in the Council’s activities, with about 70 applications submitted. Following a competitive selection process, 24 young specialists from across Russia were chosen to join the body.
