On Day of the Peoples of Russia, September 8, at 11:00, an online roundtable discussion titled “Preservation and Development of the Languages of the Peoples of Russia in the Digital” will be held.
Experts will discuss key issues of preserving and developing the country’s linguistic diversity, as well as the role of digital technologies and national domains in supporting cultural identity. The central topics are the current state of the languages of the peoples of Russia, the role of education and science in their preservation, registration of domain names in minority languages, and the use of digital tools to support linguistic culture.
On the same day, participants will also have an opportunity to test their knowledge by joining the Multilingual Domain .РФ online quiz, with 11 questions that will be available at 15.кц.рф on September 8, 11:00 - 18:00 (Moscow time).
The first three participants who answer as many questions as possible correctly will receive wireless headphones, a zipped tracksuit, a cord organizer, and a warm blanket. The five follow-up participants will get a water bottle, a slimbook, a pen, a travel organizer, and a cardholder.
The results will be published at 15.кц.рф on September 9, as well as in the Coordination Center’s VK group.
