Coordination Center experts to attend APTLD88 Member Meeting

The 88th Asia Pacific Top Level Domains Association (APTLD88) Member Meeting will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, on September 8-11, 2025.

On September 9, Olga Baskakova, Coordination Center Project Manager, will speak at the session Empirical Analysis of DNS Abuse Cases at a ccTLD, dedicated to the study of DNS abuse in country-code top-level domains and measures to prevent it.

On September 10, Irina Daneliya, Coordination Center Deputy Director, will take part in two sessions: The Role of ccTLD Managers in Content Governance: Limits and Responsibilities, which will discuss the role of registries in content regulation, and How Do ccTLDs Beat Challenges and Stay Relevant?, devoted to the challenges and strategies for the development of national domains.

On the same day, Vadim Mikhailov, Coordination Center Consultant for Infrastructure, will participate in the session Automation and AI in Registry Operations: Enhancing Efficiency and Security, where experts will discuss the potential of automation and artificial intelligence technologies in the work of domain name registries.

The Asia Pacific Top Level Domains Association (APTLD) brings together more than 50 national registries in the region, including those of the largest country-code top-level domains: Russia, China, India, and others. APTLD was established in 1998 and is one of four regional organizations uniting country-code top-level domain registries. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has been part of APTLD since 2010.
