Second Cyber Vacation session kicks off at Cyber House

On July 8, Sergei Zolotukhin, a cybersecurity consultant at F6, delivered a lecture titled Defenders of Cyberspace. Held as part of the second session of the Cyber Vacation summer camp at Cyber House, the lecture introduced school-age children to key cyber threats – from hacktivists to organized crime groups like Silence.

The expert covered modern incident response processes, focusing on the digital footprints left by users as well as cyber attackers, and explained how this data can help identify offenders. Students also learned about cybersecurity careers and the importance of digital hygiene. Sergei reminded the audience that offenses in the digital environment – such as unauthorized access to information or malware distribution – carry criminal liability.

After the lecture, session participants played Explore the Internet, a quiz and board game on digital security, led by Andrei Aleinikov, Chairman of the Coordination Center’s Youth Council, and Public Relations Specialist Alina Samokhina. Winners received prizes and online safety comic books.

Throughout the week-long second session at Cyber House, attendees will engage in practical classes, lectures, workshops, and educational games designed to build digital awareness and cyber hygiene skills.
