Smart World Made With Children’s Hands: A summer conference for students

Registration for the 8th Smart World Made With Children’s Hands nationwide online conference is now open. The two-day event will run from June 25 to 26.

Students from across Russia, from kindergarten and all the way up to vocational college and university levels, are invited to present their own projects related to programming, robotics, physics, software engineering, 3D modeling, web design, VR and AR technologies, engineering or information technology during livestreamed online sessions.

Each project will receive expert feedback, including recommendations for further development into a competitive product.

In addition, the conference will feature workshops conducted by its partners, scientific research sessions, exchange of experience, and networking activities.

Participants will have the opportunity to publish the results of their research shared during the event in the conference abstracts collection. Everyone will get a digital certificate, and those who present their own projects will receive diplomas as well as 7,000 reward points of the 14th Study the Internet & Govern It online championship, which will take place in the fall of 2025 and will be dedicated to multilingualism on the internet and the 15th anniversary of the .РФ domain.

Participation in the conference and publication of materials in the collection are free of charge.

As before, the organizers of the conference are the BYTIC foundation for new technologies in education and the Administration of the Troitsk municipal area in Moscow, supported by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. The media partners of the event are the Smart Internet Foundation, the .ДЕТИ domain, and the Study the Internet & Govern It project.
