As usual, the results of the 9th National Family IT Marathon were summed up on May 15 marking International Family Day.
The competitions took place on the platform of the Study the Internet & Govern It educational project, part of the Academy of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. The Academy offers dozens of educational courses in the sphere of online technologies and digital culture for school and university students, educators, parents, IT professionals, and others.
This year, 90 family teams from 20 Russian regions signed up for the National Family IT Marathon, with most participants representing the Kursk, Tambov and Novosibirsk regions. Just over 33 percent of all teams made it into the finals, after completing the online tournament’s interactive assignments more or less successfully. Assignments of the 2025 IT marathon dealt with educational technologies.
The winners of the Family IT Marathon 2025:
- 1st place: We Are From Siberia team, captained by Galina Babkina, from the Novosibirsk Region
- 2nd place: My Family team, captained by Anatoly Kirsanov, from the Novosibirsk Region
- 3rd place: Clever Family team, captained by Viktor Samokhvalov, from the Novosibirsk Region
Prize recipients in the special category Best Post About the Family IT Marathon 2025:
- 1st place: Code Red team, captained by Alexander Stepanov, from the Volgograd Region
- 2nd place: Infinity team, captained by Yekaterina Titilina, consisting of players from St. Petersburg and Uryupinsk in the Volgograd Region
- 3rd place: Gigahertz team, captained by Tatyana Lobanova, from the Astrakhan Region.
The winners and special category prize recipients will get certificates and valuable gifts, including Ozon and Litres certificates, International Internet Governance popular science books, and a unique poetry and prose collection, We Remember, from the Nadezhda (Hope) Foundation for the Development and Support of Children’s Literature. The organizers will soon contact the recipients to agree on the most convenient delivery options.
The Family IT Marathon is traditionally organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Academy for Innovation Education and Development, with Rostelecom as its partner. The Foundation and the .ДЕТИ top-level domain provide information support for the event.
