Works of mentors from the Study the Internet project now accessible in eLibrary

In early 2025, four new supplements to the Vneshkolnik magazine – Library for Extra-Curricular Educational Institutions for Children – were released all at the same time. This series of publications is based on materials from the Study the Internet Mentor School, a program dedicated to further professional education for individuals working with children and students. The program focuses on the internet structure and architecture, explains the basics of internet governance and internationalization, the organization of personal digital infrastructure, and the principles of mentorship and digital transformation in the educational process.

It is important to note that the School project is carried out by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Academy of Innovative Education and Development, with the support of Rostelecom.

The School held its inaugural program in 2023. This course paved the way to the publication of  a guidance manual titled “Toolkit to help teachers navigate the latest for improving teachers’ and students’ digital literacy.” This manual includes not only theoretical insights on the digital transformation of education and the significance of using IT for teaching school and university students, but also practical materials: guidelines on how to use interactive tools of the Study the Internet – Govern It! project and lesson scenarios developed by the School’s students using these tools.

Certain sections from the guidebook, along with a selection of the best works resulting from two years of the Mentor School, have been incorporated into the Library of the Vneshkolnik magazine. All supplements are available in the Scientific eLibrary and can be accessed by the internet community.

Additionally, it should be noted that lesson scenarios are published in the official VK community of the Study the Internet - Govern It! project in a weekly column under the hashtag #studyinternet_forteachers.
