The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ announces that the 15th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF 2025) will take place on April 7−8, 2025, in a hybrid format. The internet community is invited to contribute their ideas for the forum’s program.
The program preparation is already underway, and you can suggest discussion topics for the RIGF 2025 sessions by filling out a brief form on the forum’s website. The final program will be created after reviewing the proposed topics, incorporating global trends, and taking into account the outcomes of the global IGF, scheduled for December 15−19, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The main focus areas for RIGF 2025 have already been outlined:
- Development of digital infrastructure
- Governance of AI and emerging technologies
- Data sovereignty and privacy
- Tackling digital disinformation
- Sustainable technology practices
- Cybersecurity and child protection online
- Enhancing digital governance for the internet we want
- GDC and WSIS 20+ processes
The online community is encouraged to contribute relevant content to these topics, and the Forum Program Committee anticipates active participation in defining the key issues for discussion during the sessions. Suggestions can be submitted through the form on the RIGF 2025 website until January 20, 2025.
The RIGF 2025 Program Committee will make every effort to incorporate most of the submitted ideas when finalizing the program.
