There are only a few days left until the deadline for applications for participation in the Twelfth annual competition for professional and aspiring journalists writing about domains and digital technologies, DOT-Journalism 2024: applications are accepted until November 1. The results will be announced in December during the Runet Prize 2024. The winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. The jury will consider articles, analytical materials, reviews, interviews, video and radio reports created by one author or a group of authors and published from January 1 to November 1, 2024.
This year, works are accepted in 5 nominations:
- "Runet Milestones" (the best publication for the 30th anniversary of .RU and the Runet)
- "Domain Coffee Break" - What the Industry Lives Like" (reports on industry events)
- "Domain (Un)Safety" (publications on cybersecurity)
- "About Domains in Details" (the best publication for the general reader)
- "Junkors" (a special nomination for authors under 18)

To submit your work for the competition, you must fill out the form on the website until November 1, 2024.
Let us remind you that DOT-Journalism is held by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Russian Association of Electronic Communications with the support of the Smart Internet Foundation (registry of .ДЕТИ). The goal of the competition is to encourage journalists who cover trends and phenomena in the domain industry, key events related to the use of DNS and other Internet addressing systems in their articles, analytical materials, video and radio reports.
