Coordination Center launches CC Academy project

The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ announced the launch of a new project. CC Academy serves as the umbrella brand for all of the registry’s educational projects, proprietary courses, workshops, webinars, podcasts, safe internet lessons, online schools, as well as manuals, popular science articles and books prepared and published by the Coordination Center.

The CC Academy encompasses the Explore the Internet & Govern It! online game; the Study the Internet School of Mentors; the Summer School on Internet Governance; the Поддерживаю.РФ (I Support) and Domain Patrol projects and many other courses and webinars offered by the Coordination Center. Prominent experts and representatives of partner companies share their expertise on the structure of the internet, the processes of internet governance, digital literacy, new technologies and other related subjects.

“The Coordination Center enhances its educational capabilities every year: we launch new projects and team up with experts from various industries to develop courses and learning materials. In addition, we are always exploring new formats for raising public awareness of internet history and trends, and wider digital technologies through games, discussions, and podcasts,” comments Viktoria Bunchuk, Head of Social Projects at the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. “The CC Academy website was launched to showcase our educational initiatives in their full diversity, and everyone – regardless of age, specialization or skill level – is welcome to choose their own trajectory for studying the internet.”

The CC Academy is designed for schoolchildren, college and university students, teachers, IT professionals and young specialists in a wide range of fields. Everyone is certain to find a learning trajectory that suits them best at the CC Academy. To begin your journey, visit the main page or the webpage of a selected course, or fill out the I Want to Learn form and get recommendations on choosing a course from the CC specialists.

In addition, you can leave a request for a Safe Internet Lesson at your school or college, or offer your own course, lecture or workshop.

More than 500 users have already taken advantage of the projects now incorporated into the CC Academy. All of the CC Academy’s courses and its vast educational content are free.
