On June 19, the RAEC office hosted a final meeting for partners of the Russian Internet Forum (RIF in the City 2024), as well as members of RAEC and RAEC/Club, which was called RIFlexion.
RAEC Director Sergey Grebennikov and RAEC Executive Director Ekaterina Demkina summed up the results of the spring forum and discussed the advantages of the new format of the event. The main conclusion is that the city and festival format of RIF should be: “Spring RIF = Russian Internet Festival.”
The Russian Internet Festival is planned to be held in the spring, and the Russian Internet Forum will be held in the fall. The updated format of the autumn RIF - “RIF 2/0 Development Summit” – will be presented in September. RIF 2024 will be held on September 12-14 at a new venue – the Senezh Management Workshop. The summit will be dedicated to innovation and technological progress in Russia, with an emphasis on achievements, growth points and ideas for further development. As part of the summit, there will be a separate youth day for students and aspiring professionals.
The Russian Internet Forum is changing along with times and meanings, and the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ will definitely take part in RIF 2024!
RIFlexion participants expressed their comments, advice and suggestions. The Head of the Department for Work with Registrars and Users of the Center, Georgy Georgievsky, thanked the organizers for the quick creation of a new RIF format with a special atmosphere, and also noted aspects that the festival format lacked.
At the end of the event, the partners of the spring RIF received gratitude from the leadership of RAEC for their active contribution to the organization and conduct of the RIF in the City 2024.
