On June 26-27, the 35th Conference with international participation “Modern Information Technologies in Education” will be held online. This is a practical platform where mentors will meet with experts in the field of education, exchange methods, best practices in the field of application and teaching of digital technologies, and also take part in specialized workshops.
Invited to participate:
- teachers of preschool, primary, basic and additional education who use information technology in their activities;
- teachers of engineering or IT disciplines;
- teachers using information technologies in inclusive education;
- specialists in the field of improving IT qualifications of teachers.
The Conference program includes master classes for teachers, discussions and expert presentations in the sections “IT for Teachers of the Humanities and Natural Sciences”, “IT in Inclusive Education”, “Improving the IT Qualifications of Teachers”, “Realities and Prospects of Online Learning” and others.
The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ traditionally provides partner support to the event. The Center’s specialists will speak at specialized platforms, where they will talk about their projects for teachers of various levels, in particular, about the School of Mentors “Study the Internet”, a future course on online safety, which is being developed jointly with the Vladimir Institute for Educational Development, as well as about the IT-lessons constructor based on the interactive project “Study the Internet & Govern It.
The Conference will also include a virtual exhibition. The Coordination Center’s booth will present the organization’s projects for teachers, students and entrepreneurs, as well as the documentary film “Internet for Everyone” about people whose lives have been qualitatively changed thanks to digital technologies.
All participants of the “Modern Technologies in Education” will receive electronic certificates. Participation is free. Registration has already opened.
The event was organized jointly by the Baytik Foundation for New Technologies in Education, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, the Administration of the Troitsk Urban District in Moscow, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Systems of the Moscow Pedagogical State University.
It should be noted that another conference ‒ “Smart World through the Hands of Children” ‒ organized by the Baytik Foundation with the support of the Coordination Center, will also be held on June 26-27. Preschoolers, school, college and university students from different cities of Russia are invited to participate in it in order to present their projects related to programming, robotics, 3D modeling, web design and other IT disciplines as part of a live broadcast. Everyone who successfully presents the project will receive 6,000 prize points at the XIII All-Russian online championship “Study the Internet & Govern It”, which will be held in the fall of 2024 and will, among other things, be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the .RU domain.
