On April 23-26, the Russian High Technology Week 2024, which included the exhibition "SVYAZ-2024" - the largest international exhibition on telecommunications and information technologies in Russia, the EAEU and Eastern Europe, was held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. The exposition featured booths of more than 700 Russian and foreign companies from Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and 29 regions of Russia. More than 16,000 people visited the exhibition and learned about the latest achievements in the field of information and telecommunications technologies and consumer electronics.
The booth of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and accredited registrars was presented at the exhibition, and during all 4 days of the exhibition, experts from the Coordination Center, Reg.ru, RU-СENTER and RF.RU communicated with visitors to the exhibition and answered all questions about domains, hosting and website creation. And the main topic of the stand was the 30th anniversary of .RU and Runet.
A non-stop quiz was held at the booth, devoted to the Runet's 30th anniversary, on knowledge of Runet history and domain industry work. Also, on all days of the exhibition, participants were treated to competitions and a quiz “Study the Internet – Govern It!” with prizes and gifts. More than 500 people took part in competitions and quizzes - and no one left without a souvenir from the Center.
Among the guests at our stand was Kirill Pitersky, the largest collector of Troika cards in Russia. His collection already numbers more than 1,400 unique items. From our posts on social networks during RIGF 2024, Kirill learned that the Coordination Center had released a unique “Troika” card for the 30th anniversary of.RU, and wanted to be one of the first to become its owner. And the anniversary card added to his collection!
Companies from the People's Republic of China were traditionally widely represented at the Svyaz-2024 exhibition, and many visitors from this country also were there. Many Chinese citizens are opening a business in Russia, and they did not fail to stop by the Coordination Center’s stand to ask our specialists in detail about how to register a domain name in Russian domains and open a website on the RuNet. Of course, our experts answered all the questions of Chinese entrepreneurs and wished them successful business development in Russia.

It was also very useful to communicate with Chinese business: their interest in Russian national domains is quite large, I think this can also become a growth point for the Russian domain space.
