Registration for the 8th Russian Family IT Marathon lasts until April 22. This is a digital literacy competition for family teams. This year, the tasks are dedicated to internet culture.
At the first stage, which also lasts until April 22, the teams will have to complete a creative task – to draft a post about the IT marathon for social media or a Family Guide to the list of the best .CHILDREN-located websites.
At the second stage, which starts on April 23, the teams will compete in an online tournament dedicated to digital etiquette, subcultures, jobs, information and media literacy, digital economy, and universal acceptance.
The winners will receive certificates and valuable gifts. The runners-up will be awarded Ozon and Litres certificates. Captains of the winning teams will enjoy special prizes – certificates from Reg.ru for registering a domain name in .CHILDREN and creating a website using a website builder for a one-year period. Other participants will receive electronic certificates of recognition.
The results of the IT marathon will be announced on International Day of Families, which is annually marked on May 15.
The Family IT Marathon is based on the Study the Internet & Govern It interactive educational project. The organizers are the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Academy of Innovative Education and Development with the support from Rostelecom, Reg.ru and .ДЕТИ.
