The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications have signed an agreement on cooperation in implementing joint programs in education, methodology and research, as well as organizing educational events.
The agreement also covers the following areas of cooperation:
- organizing and conducting workshops, training sessions, business games and other events
- participating in the Поддерживаю.РФ (Support RF) project to enhance knowledge and training of students and young professionals on the topic of universal acceptance of domain names and e-mail addresses in software, information systems, services and websites
- collaborating on the educational project Study the Internet - Govern it!, which involves joint online tournaments and quizzes aimed at improving users' digital literacy
- implementing projects related to Internet governance, including projects for young people
- cooperating on projects in ICT development and information security, including the study of Internet security aspects, prevention of the illegal use of the Internet and the domain name registration system.
The Coordination Center and SPb SUT have a close partnership: at the end of last year, the Center’s experts delivered open lectures at the university as part of a series of events on user information security. Additionally, representatives from SPb SUT participate in the Summer School on Internet Governance, organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.RF.
