The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ invites children and parents to take part in the 8th All-Russian Family IT Marathon. The competition will be held on the website of the interactive educational project “Study the Internet & Govern It” until May 15, registration of family teams is open until April 22.
The IT marathon is held by the Coordination Center in cooperation with the Academy of Innovative Education and Development with the support of Rostelecom and Reg.ru. Information partners of the event are the Smart Internet Foundation and the .ДЕТИ domain.
The IT marathon consists of two stages:
- Stage 1 – creative task: teams will need to prepare a post about the IT marathon for social networks and a Family Guide to the Catalog of the best resources with an address in .ДЕТИ.
- Stage 2 - online tournament on the topic “Digital Culture”: the tournament includes 24 game tasks of varying complexity about digital etiquette and subcultures, transformation of professions under the influence of new technologies, information and media literacy, digital economy and universal acceptance
The winners will receive diplomas and valuable gifts. Players of the teams that won prizes will be awarded certificates from major RuNet marketplaces. Separate prizes have been prepared for the captains of the winning teams - certificates from the Reg.ru company for registering .ДЕТИ and creating a website using the website builder for a period of 1 year. Participants in the online tournament who are not among the leaders will receive electronic certificates.
The results of the IT marathon will be announced on International Day of Families, which is celebrated annually on May 15.
Over the 7-year history of the Family IT Marathon, 650 family teams from all over the country took part in it—several thousand children, their parents and friends.
