On December 11, there was a solemn ceremony to award the winners of the All-Russian competition of professional excellence among teaching staff, education specialists and mentors named after Viktor Mikhailovich Glushkov “The Teacher who Conquered the Internet” organized by the Academy of Innovative Education and Development” with the support of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ as part of the III All-Russian Pedagogical Educational Forum “Teacher is the Future of Russia!”, held in the main building of the Moscow Pedagogical State University. The ceremony took place as part of the strategic session “Cooperation Between Teachers and Parents: Strong Family - Strong Russia.”
The “Teacher Who Conquered the Internet” was organized by the Academy of Innovative Education and Development with the support of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, the Union of Women of Russia, the Foundation for Supporting Network Initiatives “Smart Internet” (domain .ДЕТИ) and the Association of Teacher Education Workers.
The winners of the competition were awarded by the Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev and the Rector of the Academy Olga Rubtsova. Olga emphasized the fruitful cooperation of the Academy and the Coordination Center on the Family IT Marathon projects “Study the Internet & Govern It!” and School of Mentors. She also spoke about the creation of a working group for the formation of the “IT Assistants and Media Volunteers” project, which included Academy experts, members of the Center’s Youth Council and the Youth Digital Ombudsman team.
Andrey Vorobyev, awarding the winners, noted that the competition was organized in honor of the outstanding Soviet scientist Viktor Glushkov, who stood at the origins of cybernetics in our country. “The development of education cannot be imagined without technology, and today we are pleased to reward teachers who actively use modern technologies in the educational process,” he said.
The winners received valuable prizes, personalized diplomas and certificates from the Explore the Internet School of Mentors, giving the right to study in the next admission of the School.
