This year, we are holding the 12th Study the Internet & Govern It national online championship and can confirm that interest in this competition has not subsided. Students from 40 Russian regions competed to be named the best experts in the history and structure of the internet, safe use of the internet and technologies of the future. The competition is also a great way to improve digital literacy. This year’s championship was dedicated to the Year of Teachers and Mentors, partly because this fall, the Coordination Center launched the Study the Internet Mentorship School that trains teachers and instructors to use the resources of Study the Internet & Govern It in education. I am confident that next year, we will have an entire squad of championship ambassadors, and that even more school students from all over the country will compete,” Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev commented.
