Very soon we will see the main forum on Internet Governance - Internet Governance Forum. The 18th annual UN Internet Governance Forum will be organized with the support of the Government of Japan and will be held in Kyoto from 8 to 12 October 2023.
The main topic of this year's Forum is “The Internet We Want - Empowering All People.” According to the program, discussions within the Forum will develop around the following subtopics:
- AI & Emerging Technologies
- Avoiding Internet Fragmentation
- Cybersecurity, Cybercrime & Online Safety
- Data Governance & Trust
- Digital Divides & Inclusion
- Global Digital Governance & Cooperation
- Human Rights & Freedoms
- Sustainability & Environment
The IGF will again be held in a hybrid format: online connection - which will allow everyone interested in the topic of Internet Governance to join the discussions and debates - will be organized for those who cannot attend the site in person.
We called experts who will tell you what to expect from the upcoming Forum, what to look for, which sessions are definitely worth attending and how not to get confused in the extensive program.
