On Knowledge Day, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ announces the prolongation of an educational project for students of boarding schools aimed at developing websites, organized by experts from the Coordination Center and teachers of the Coddy Programming School for high school students of boarding schools.
Work on the project began in January 2023, when the team of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ went to the Tula region to the students of the Barsukovskaya boarding school named after. A.M. Garanina. And already in April and May of this year, students of grades 7-8 of the Barsukov school completed a basic course on website development. In two months, they mastered the basic knowledge of computer literacy, learned how to create websites and learned about the possibilities of using neural networks. Now this project will spread to other educational institutions.
“Last academic year, we achieved good results - the guys took a basic course on website development, learned the basics of computer literacy, tried to create simple websites, and also learned about the capabilities of neural networks. We plan not to stop there, but to expand the educational program and replicate it in other institutions,” said Alexander Drozdov, Head of Special Projects of the Coordination Center.
