The APTLD84 will be held in Seoul, Korea, on September 18–20. It will be hosted by the Asia-Pacific Top-Level Domain Association (APTLD). The 25th anniversary of the Asia-Pacific Top Level Domain Association will be celebrated at APTLD84.
The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has been a member of APTLD since 2010, and its representatives regularly take part in all events held by the association. APTLD84 will be attended by Chief Analyst of the Coordination Center Maria Kolesnikova, Infrastructure Consultant Vadim Mikhailov, who will speak on September 19 as speakers at the section on ccTLDs and Universal Acceptance. Olga Baskakova, project manager of the Center, will report on the work of the Domain Patrol and Netoscope projects in the session “With Ruler and Astrolabe: DNS Measurement: Tools and Practices”, which will discuss the use of analytics tools in DNS monitoring.
Irina Danelia, Deputy Director of the Coordination Center, will moderate the section on the role of ccTLD registries in combating DNS Abuse. Participants will look at the causes of it, learn about statistics, and about the contribution of ccTLD registries to the fight against DNS Abuse.
