On May 24-26, the XXVII Russian Internet Forum is going to be held in the Lesnye Dali boarding house near Moscow. This year, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has become the organizing partner of the forum again and will hold its events there.
The Coordination Center will present a fruitful program that includes discussions, lectures, competitions, meetings, as well as recreation and entertainment. The exhibition will feature a large booth of the Center, where accredited registrars will be presented and a "Study the Internet & Govern it!" quiz with prizes and gifts. Domain business experts, lawyers specializing in domain issues, and even the Internet Ombudsman will speak at the RIF lecture hall. Come there - it will be funny and interesting!

Domain section. Runet infrastructure and import substitution, consideration of domain disputes in WIPO under sanctions, trends in the development of the domain market.
Section participants will receive first-hand information on how the DNS management system for national Russian domains is being built in today's conditions and what steps have already been taken to ensure digital sovereignty, how the distributed TLS ecosystem is developing based on domestic solutions. Well-known lawyers specializing in domain issues will talk about how sanctions from Western states affect the consideration of domain disputes in WIPO if Russian citizens and organizations are involved in these disputes. Also topics for discussion will be the regulatory impact on the Russian domain industry and import substitution in the domain area. The Center and TCI specialists will talk about the trends in the development of the domain market in Russia and in the world and present new services of the Coordination Center and the Technical Center of Internet for registrars and Internet users.

On May 25, the 11th DOT Journalism Competition will be launched. This is an annual competition for journalists writing about domains and other Internet addressing systems, which is held by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ with the support of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC). The purpose of the competition is to encourage journalists who cover trends and phenomena in the domain industry, key events related to the use of DNS and other Internet addressing systems in their articles, analytical materials, reports.
