On April 11, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, in cooperation with Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the Russian Civic Chamber, will hold a roundtable meeting on the development of public administration, the digital state and the legacy of Academician Viktor Glushkov, whose centenary is marked this year. Meeting participants will speak about Viktor Glushkov’s creative legacy and its reflection in today’s processes, and the world-renowned scientist’s contribution to the development of information technology in Russia.
Olga Kitova, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Director of the Center of Cognitive Science Competences at Plekhanov University and Viktor Glushkov’s daughter, will make the keynote report at the roundtable meeting. Another report, Digital State Planning Committee, will be presented by Vladimir Nelyub and Pavel Stroganov, the co-directors of the Artificial Intelligence Research and Training Center at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ Andrey Vorobyev, Olga Kitova, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Director of the Center of Cognitive Science Competences at Plekhanov University, and Sergei Grebennikov, Director of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications and member of the Russian Civic Chamber, will moderate the event.

On August 24, 2023, we mark 100 years since the birth of digital state theory creator Viktor Glushkov. He founded the theory of digital machines and the theory and practice of designing computers and supercomputers with a new macroconveyor architecture. He was the first in the world to develop a complete project of a national automatic system for collecting and processing data for monitoring, planning and managing the state economy in the Soviet Union.
