Registration for the 7th All-Russian Family IT Marathon 2023 was opened on March 2. Family teams consisting of 5-11grades students, their parents, relatives or close friends are invited to participate.
The family IT-marathon is going to be held from March 2 to April 25, 2023 on the official website of the "Study the Internet & Govern It!" project игра-интернет.рф. Registration of participants will last until April 13 inclusive. The results will be announced on International Day of the Family, which is celebrated annually on May 15th.
The competition will be held in two stages. The first stage is a creative task, the participants of which will have to shoot and present to the jury a video on the topic “The Teacher Who Conquered the Internet”. The second stage is an online tournament, which consists of 24 tasks of varying complexity, united by the theme "Digital Literacy". The tasks are devoted to information, computer, media and communication literacy, future technologies and Internet security.
The winners are waiting for diplomas and valuable prizes from the organizers, among them are: virtual reality glasses, smart speaker, smart watch, drawing tablet, removable hard drive. Participants of the online tournament who did not win prizes will receive personalized electronic certificates.
For six years, more than 570 family teams from all over the country have become participants in the IT marathon - these are several thousand children, their parents and friends.
"Study the Internet & Govern It!" is a popular social and educational project, with the purpose to increase the level of digital literacy of participants. With its help, young users will be able to understand the intricacies of the Internet and digital technologies, become experienced Internet users and learn how to surf the net safely. The project is also designed to awaken the interest of schoolchildren in professions related to digital technologies.
The organizers of the 7th All-Russian Family IT Marathon 2023 are Rostelecom, the Academy of Innovative Education and Development, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Smart Internet Foundation.
