The Main Indicators Of The National Goal “Digital Transformation” In 2022 Were Exceeded

Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ Andrey Vorobyev took part in a briefing on the main results of achieving the indicators of the national goal "Digital Transformation", the national program "Digital Economy" in 2022 and key plans for the coming year, which was held by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Maksut Shadayev. The event was also attended by CEO of ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika Sergey Plugotarenko, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications Alexander Khinshtein, CEO of ANO IRI Alexei Goreslavsky and other experts.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that 2022 was the year of reorientation to new markets and directions, significant results were achieved, including in the digital industry, and all indicators of the national goal were exceeded. Thus, the level of achievement of “digital maturity” was 65.8% (with a plan of 56.2%); the share of mass socially significant online services was 99.97% (with a plan of 65%); the share of households that are provided with the possibility of broadband access to the Internet - 86.1% (against the plan - 80%); the level of increase in investments in domestic IT solutions - 157.4% (against the plan - 156%).

Dmitry Chernyshenko also said that since the beginning of 2022, almost 50 thousand cyber attacks have been successfully repelled, 1.6 thousand incidents have been recorded and eliminated. All of them are closed and "relevant recommendations have been prepared" for them. The service for issuing security certificates operates on a permanent basis at the State Services. In 2022, almost 10.5 thousand such certificates were issued.

Minister of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of Russia Maksut Shadayev noted the active development of digital public services. “The State Services Portal has established itself as a mass service system for our citizens: today, two-thirds of citizens use the portal. The number of portal users has reached 100 million. Over the past three years, this number has grown by more than 40%. The daily audience has quadrupled to almost 10 million people,” said Maksut Shadayev.

Sergey Plugotarenko, CEO of ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika, said that despite the unprecedented support measures provided to the industry this year, business and IT professionals need further stimulus measures. He noted that the digital economy of Russia not only survived and coped with unprecedented challenges and pressure, but even showed growth above the forecast. “It was last year that we realized more than ever that we are “in the same boat”: the state, business, IT specialists, users. I consider this one of the brightest conclusions of 2022. One of the 3 key reasons why we survived, strengthened, and united: the multiple increase in the amount of state support for the IT industry, as well as completely new state support measures that were discussed and launched as quickly as possible in 2022,” said Sergey Plugotarenko.
