New version of Accreditation Regulations to come into force on August 8, 2022

On August 8, 2022, a new version of the Accreditation Regulations will come into force.

The Accreditation Regulations, a regulatory document of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, establish the rules for filing and examining an accreditation request from an organization applying for accreditation as a domain name registrar.

The new version of the Accreditation Regulations amends the procedure for submitting documents by an accredited organization. In particular, the regulations set out the method and explanations for providing documents signed online with an enhanced qualified electronic signature, which will make the process of filing documents easier for applicants. In addition, the list of documents to be submitted has been updated, and the term for considering an application for accreditation has been changed.

Moreover, the General Meeting of Founders has set the new price for the Coordination Center’s services to check the competence of an organization applying to provide domain registration services. It will now cost 140,000 rubles, including VAT. This is the first time the cost of accreditation has changed since 2007.
