Youth RIGF 2022 is the II Youth Internet Governance Forum organized by the Center for Global IT-Cooperation.
The Forum is going to be held on May 13 in the Digital Business Space, Moscow. There will be also an online stream for everyone who can’t attend the event offline.
The Center for Global IT-Cooperation will award the winners in two categories within the framework of the Forum: “The Best International Youth IT Project”, and “For contribution to international cooperation in the field of IT”, and special award by the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics for the “Best Educational IT Project”.
Bachelor and Master's programme students, as well as PhDs and graduates, and all interested persons (up to 30 years) are invited to participate in Youth RIGF. To take part in the event, you should register:
- until April 15, 2022 - to participate in the award;
- until April 28, 2022 - to register for the Forum.
Youth RIGF is a unique opportunity to listen to leading experts in the field of IT, to discuss the prospects for the development of the Internet, and also to take part in the sections:
- The "epidemic" of eSports: the growth of the gaming industry in the world;
- "We all live in the matrix": the future of the metaverses;
- Captured by the "world wide web": content and algorithms;
- Choose a career from the youth: new demands of the old labor market.
Also, there will be a separate section devoted to the development of the International Education Center institution in Russia and abroad - it will be conducted by the Youth Digital Ombudsman (YDO) team, established by the Youth RIGF 2021. There will be Interactive platforms, for example, an arena for eSports competitions. In addition, there will be a discussion planned as part of the World Girls in ICT Day, where you can listen to speeches by women industry leaders in the Russian Federation.
Due to the epidemiological situation, Youth RIGF is going to be held in a hybrid format, like last year. Since the number of offline participants is limited, the selection will be made by the results of a creative task.
