The results of the second stage of the Explore the Internet & Govern It closed Russian online tournament held for schoolchildren in cadet classes (7-11 grades) are now available. Over 2,000 young cadets participated in it.
The tournament took place on the website of the Explore the Internet & Govern It project. Children had to complete 20 interactive tasks on information security.
The tournament, held as part of the Cadet Spartakiad for the 2021/22 academic year, is the latest stage of the internet literacy tournament for children in cadet classes. The organizers of the Cadet Spartakiad will take into account the points scored by the teams when calculating the teams’ total score from all events:
- Team that earned at least 500 points – 3 points;
- Team that earned at least 1,500 points – 5 points;
- Team that earned at least 3,000 points – 10 points;
- Team that earned over 4,000 points – 15 points.
The website of the Explore the Internet & Govern It project allows users to take part in online tournaments, and also to improve their digital skills and learn useful facts about the internet and new technologies with games in the Knowledge section, tests in the mobile app and quizzes. Users can also review definitions using the dictionary of internet vocabulary.
